Fourteen Valentines, card 7

Halfway there!  This card is a little mix of Stampin' Up! card stock and DSP with a Hot Off the Press die.

Here's the card:

The heart and the background are cut from the same DSP- it gradates from bottom to top in intensity, leaving a beautiful soft bokeh effect at the top.

Anyhoo.  Thinking about bedtime soon, may make more cards tomorrow after church.  Have a great night!

Fourteen Valentines, card 6

Whew!  I'm getting a lot done today.  Well, except for housework.  But that will keep, amiright?

Here's card 6:

Another masculin-ish card.  I think so anyway.  Mainly because it has no pastels or froofy stuff on it.

Here's what I used to make it:

Fourteen Valentines, card 5

Here is my card:

I was going for something that could be given to a man and was not too mushy, but still had a valentine-y feel.  I think I hit the mark, what do you think?

I kind of like how the scallop design in the paper mimics the scallops on the circles.  It makes my OCD happy.

Fourteen Valentines, card 4

Here's my fourth valentine for the homebound:

I still love those hedgies!  I am thinking I should have put a little red border on the whisper white rectangle, though... maybe next time.

Fourteen Valentines, cards 2 and 3

Well I didn't get any done yesterday so I have to get on the ball!

The first card is all Stampin' Up, the second one uses a Sizzix die set... here is card #1:

I just love those little lady bugs!  And what a sweet and simple card.  It took me longer to design it than it did to put it together lol.

The second card includes a little DSP:

I thought the die cut reflected nicely what the DSP says.  The fine tip on the liquid glue does a fine job on the intricate die cut!

Here's what all I used on these two cards, except for the Sizzix die set:

Fourteen Valentines, part 1

We're sending valentines to the home bound in our church this year.  There are fourteen people, so I have a week or so to make fourteen valentines!  I am so wishing I'd purchased the valentine stamp set from the Occasions catalog, but I didn't, so I will make do with what I have.  It's ok to not buy EVERY set they have lol.

Here's my first card:

It's a very simple card- I love the tiny touch of black and those hedge hogs are soooo cute!

Here's what I used to make the card:
