A Joyful Christmas card

So here is my inspiration card, and here is my card:

I didn't wake up until almost 9:00 this morning, which is not bad considering I was up from four to almost six.

I got this cardinal set from Stampin' Up! because I couldn't get my hands on Hero Arts' Color Layering Cardinal yet.  I think I like it enough to just be happy with it.  I can't wait until my Stampin' Up! inks and papers get here, though.  I'd have liked a little darker red ink to match the paper I used.  Oh well.

Bazzill Ruby Slipper card stock
The Paper Studio heavy weight white card stock
Memento inks: LAdy Bug, Tuxedo Black, Tangelo, and Rich Cocoa
The Stamps of Life ribbon

I decided to add some Icicle Stickles to the card, on the tree branch.  Here it is:

I like this better, don't you?  Amazing what a little glitter glue can do.
