Penny Black Pumpkin Tree

I love this stamp!  I did a bit of masking and ink blending and it was done!

Here is the card:

So easy!  And I will say that I overstamped it three times with the MISTI to ensure a perfect dark black image.  Couldn't have done it without the MISTI.

Supplies used:

The Paper Studio heavy weight white and black card stock
Penny Black Pumpkin Tree Stamp
Ranger Archival ink Jet Black
Distress inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Seedless Preserves, and Dusty Concord
Inkadinkadoo Masking paper
Spellbinders circles die

Thanks for looking, and have a great Sunday!

Stampin' Up Haul

Hey there!  So my friend had an online Stampin' Up! party, which means I just had to place an order.  LOL I would have anyway, at least this way she gets hostess points!

Here's my inspiration card.  I liked the general layout and the monochromatic scheme, so I CASE'd it and this is what I came up with:

Supplies used:

SU Flurry of Wishes stamp set
SU snowflake punch
SU clear rhinestones
SU card stock
SSS Lake Shores ink

I also used the MISTI to ensure the snowflakes were evenly stamped.

Anyhoo, time for bed, so good night and see ya tomorrow!

Thanks for looking!

Ink Smooshing

Happy Labor Day!  I've finished doing all my laundry, so I rewarded myself with a little crafty time.  I've been seeing a lot of "ink smooshing" going on, and decided I'd try it, too.  Here's what I came up with:

That stamp set is so stinkin' cute!  I colored the critters to somewhat resemble my sweet Jethro and Katy.  I can't recommend the MISTI enough for stamping solid black images like the sentiment- you can re-stamp once or twice to intensify the black while maintaining the crisp white lines of the sentiment.  I added a little glimmer mist to the background, too, because hey- who doesn't love a little shine? lol

Supplies used:

SSS Costumed Pets stamp and die set
Watercolor paper
The Paper Studio heavyweight white card stock
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Distress inks: Dusty Concord, Picked Raspberry, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers
Copic markers
Spectrum Noir markers
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist - Sea Glass

Off to clean the house!  Thanks for looking!

Verve Blessed Christmas card

OK so this is a Verve card, not a Paper Smooches card.  The stamp sets do have similar names, though.

Here's my card:

The die is one I got at Stampaway! Yay for new things!  I feel like this card still needs a little more embellishment, but until I know what I want to do, I am leaving it as is.

Hey, guess what?  I didn't scraplift anybody this time! lol

Supplies used:

Verve Blessed Christmas stamp set
The Paper Studio heavyweight white card stock
Stampin Up card stock
BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad
Memento Grey Flannel ink

Thanks for looking!

Another Paper Smooches Christmas card

OK, so this Christmas card doesn't seem very Christmassy because of the color combo.  Anyhoo, here it is:

On the other hand, I really like the general look of it and the layout.  The MISTI was great for ensuring a great, solid black stamping of the skyline!

Supplies used:

The Paper Studio heavy weight white and black card stock
Paper Smooches A Blessed Christmas stamp set
Distress Inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold, and Abandoned Coral
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Misti
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder

Paper Smooches A Blessed Christmas

After a glass of wine, I decided to make some Christmas cards.  As you know, I usually find someone else's card that inspires me and re-create it.  This time, I found inspiration on the Paper Smooches website.  I liked the simplicity of the eighth card in the lineup.  Here's my take:

Once I had the paper embossed, I realized I hadn't left a spot to stamp the sentiment, so I improvised a little.

Supplies used:
The Paper Studio white heavy weight card stock
Sizzix embossing folder
Paper Smooches A Blessed Christmas stamp set
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Copic markers
Simon Says Stamp Holiday Folded Banners stamp and die set.

My second card was heavily inspired by this one.  Here's my card:

The Paper Studio white heavy weight card stock
Bazill card stock
Distress inks: Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass, and Dusty Concord
Gold Delicate ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
SSS Stitched Circles die
SSS Stitched Rectangles die

Well, I think that's it for tonight.  Got to get lots of sleep, church in the morning!
Good night, and thanks for looking.
